N4 grammar

疑問詞 + も + 否定

Nobody, nothing, nowhere

Formation

A question word with も and a negative verb empties the field: nobody came, there is nothing here. The negative is required, exactly as with しか. Positive も after a question word means something quite different.

Examples

疑問詞 + も + 否定 is marked in each sentence. Tap any word for its dictionary entry.
