N5 grammar
〜にくい
nikui
Hard to do
Formationverb stem + にくい
にくい is the other half of やすい: hard to do, slow to happen. It describes the thing rather than the person struggling with it, so a word can be hard to read even when you manage it. It conjugates as an i-adjective.
