How the Korean placement test works

The test is adaptive. Each question shows a Koreanword and four possible meanings; when you answer correctly the next word is harder, and when you miss it gets easier, so a handful of questions is enough to place you. Your result is an estimate, not an official exam, but it's a fast, honest way to find where to start.

Korean levels & CEFR

  • Beginner: A2 (Elementary)
  • Intermediate: B1 (Intermediate)
  • Advanced: C1 (Advanced)
