〜で(手段)

Formationnoun + で (by train, with a pen, in Japanese)

で also marks what you use to get something done: a train, a pen, a language. English switches between by, with and in here, while Japanese keeps one particle for all of it. Reach for it when the noun is an instrument rather than a place.
