〜へ

Formationplace + へ (pronounced e) + motion verb

へ points a motion verb in a direction. It overlaps with に so heavily that either is usually fine, but へ leans on the heading while に leans on the arrival. It is also the particle on the address line of an envelope.

   I went to Europe before the war.

5. 弟おとうとは小学校しょうがっこうへ通とおっています。

   My little brother goes to an elementary school.
