N4 grammar

〜かどうか

kadouka

Whether or not

Formation

かどうか builds a yes-or-no question into a larger sentence: I do not know whether he is coming. Drop the どうか and use just か when the embedded question has a question word in it. だ disappears in front of it after a noun.
