〜より

FormationA は B より + adjective

より marks the thing you are comparing against: cheaper than this one. Japanese has no comparative ending, so the adjective stays exactly as it is and より does all the work. The compared item always sits directly in front of it.

   No river in the world is longer than the Nile.

5. 彼かれは私わたしよりも２インチ背せが高たかい。

   He is two inches taller than I am.
